Bettina & Cannes
This special town has been the Home Port for Bettina for many years, our normal mooring is in one of the best positions in this old port. This can be your floating luxury holiday base for a wonderful stay in Cannes, the jewel of the Riviera, world famous for the INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL in May and its conventions throughout the year. The ideal setting for a wonderful holiday, with 3000 hours of sunshine a year and very mild winters.
There is great shopping in Rue D'Antibes and throughout the town, visit the Forville market, famous all over Europe for its fresh produce and flowers, catch up on the news with a drink and enjoy one of the local bars. Stroll along the Croisette, with its exotic cars, sandy beaches, outdoor cafes and restaurants. Cannes is magical at night, watch the firework displays and explore the night life and sights. Visitors are attracted here all year around as in Cannes there is always something special happening.
Accommodation is for 7/8 Guests in four cabins, all of which have ensuite facilities and airconditioning. The Master Cabin has a double and a single bed and can be used as a family room if required. There are two further cabins, both with twin beds and a cabin with a single bed. Crew accommodation is forward, also with ensuite facilities.One crew member for basic daily housekeeping and for night-time security is included in the daily rate. There is no extra charge for children sharing. Catering and extra crew are available if required, self catering is possible and pre-provisioning service is available.
Bettina is a Fully Equipped Licensed Commercial Vessel with everything to make your stay enjoyable, comfortable and memorable. The mirrored saloon with its cream leather settees and light carpeting compliment the varnished woodwork and Dining tables with seating for 8 - 10 guests. Installed is a TV, DVD and CD player with a large drinks Fridge and Ice-maker.
The Top Deck is ideal for Sunbathing and lounging on the soft seating or lunching at the Teak Table which seats 8, with panoramic views of the Bay of Cannes, to The Islands and of the old port. The more secluded Fore Deck can seat 8 on wide soft seating and an area for sunbathing. There are fantastic views across the Harbour of Le Suquet and the Old Town.
The spacious Aft Deck is a favourite place for dining, the large teak table can seat up to 12 guests. The Aft Deck can be totally enclosed with clear screen covers and heated if needed in winter months; which make it usable all year round. Airport collection Service is available, using Bettina's Liveried eight seater people carrier, driven by a uniformed crew member, this can be utilised for excursions if required.
Parking is available close to the Yacht and safe sandy beaches are only a few paces away. We are within easy walking distance of the famous Cannes shops, markets, restaurants, night-life and the Croisette.
For Larger groups other Cannes based Yachts are available on a similar basis or a lower cost option would be to use our Apartment in conjunction with Bettina. Winter breaks can be fun with several Ski Resorts under two hours drive from Cannes, which gives the opportunity to combine sea, sun and snow !!!
