Here is our lovely penthouse apartment, which is our home for the part of the year we spend in Cannes. It is therefore furnished and equipped to a much higher level than would normally be found in most rental accommodation and we rent it out for a few weeks a year to caring guests.

The Apartment has good quality furniture and fittings throughout. It has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, two of which are a good size with large wardrobes and can be set as double beds or twins. Both of these have en-suite facilities & French doors opening on to the east balcony. The third smaller bedroom has large bunk-beds and an adjacent bathroom with a full bath. There is an open plan fully equipped kitchen with an American style fridge freezer, oven, hob and microwave etc. The kitchen opens into a 31 foot south facing lounge with a Dining Table that seats twelve. The other end is furnished with a three seater and a pair of two-seater settees with a 50″ Plasma TV with Satellite English TV and Films. Four sets of French doors open on to balconies on three sides where there are tables, loungers and a barbecue. The apartment has wonderful views across the Valley of Cannes and down to the sea and the beautiful Lerins Islands. It’s ideally situated to ensure peace and tranquillity after the rigours of the day where you can sit, relax with a drink and enjoy the view of Cannes as the lights come on at dusk.

Guest access

The Apartment is accessed by a coded security gate. These open into ample parking for the three apartments and garages that comprise the Villa Les Adoumas, built on a thousand square metre plot. Our Penthouse Apartment is served by a small two person lift and was completely refurbished when purchased or for the more energetic there is a large spiral staircase. There are two other private apartments on the first and second floors which use the communal entrance. You have full use of the entire apartment including the great fully equipped open-plan kitchen.

We are ‘Travel people too’ so we know that when you arrive you want to be able to relax and hit the ground running, so we are happy to buy some basic groceries ahead of your visit if you give us enough notice*. and / or we can provide a chef to cook for a special meal*, just ask for details. An any time Airport collection / drop off service is available*. All guests are invited to join us for a free glass of wine on board our 22m Motor Yacht in the Old Port of Cannes*. You can also receive a discount on our All inclusive Cannes Day Charters . . . again just ask ! *(subject to availability). We’re quite flexible on check in and out times, so just ask if we will try to be flexible for your flight times etc subject to other bookings. . .

Neighbourhood overview

The apartment is located only 20 minutes from Nice International Airport, with easy access from the main route into Cannes, situated in a quiet residential area. There are a good range of shops within a five-minute walk and a leisurely stroll down the Boulevard Carnot takes you into the heart of Cannes in 20 minutes.

Getting around

There is a regular public bus route only 3 – 4 minutes walk away, which will whisk you off to the coast in just 10 minutes. The nearest train station is Cannes, approx. 20 minutes walk away, which goes to Nice – Monaco – Italy etc in one direction and Frejus – St.Tropez – Toulon in the other.

Other things to note

Guests with small children MUST be aware that the balcony that flows around three sides of the apartment has railings which are part wall (approx 90cm high) and part metal railings (with gaps approx. 13cm wide). Children should not be allowed access to the balcony without suitable adult supervision. There is also a small lift; children must not use the lift without adult supervision. Please note the communal entrance is situated at the top of a flight of stairs.
