BBH back on board Bettina

Cannes Lions, the world’s largest festival dedicated to world-class creativity, will return to the Palais des Festivals for its 66th edition in June 2019. There will be more than 16,000 major players in the creative and marketing communications industry in Cannes to learn, celebrate and network at this one-of-a-kind event which will run from 17 to 21 June.

We pleased that BBH Partners LLP the multi-award winning communications agency will be back with us for their 3rd CANNES LIONS FESTIVAL charter and we hope they can build on the previous years successes.

In 2016 BBH left Motor Yacht Bettina with a grand total of 12 awards at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, including the Integrated Grand Prix for BBH New York’s ‘FU2016’ campaign for Netflix House of Cards.

BBH recognise a Bettina charter will provide an unrivalled platform from which to host clients and contacts and do business. It is the ultimate way to impress and enables brands and businesses to stand out among the competition.

We are very pleased to hear that John McCormack (who launched the film ‘Daddy Fox’ from Bettina) is back for this years Cannes Film Festival with ‘Charlies Crew’. . .

CHARLIE’S CREW a feature film starring the Community Media Crew, Robert Maxfield, Stephanie Bishop, John Henshaw. Charlie recruits his mates who all have a learning disability, to be in his short film, but they face many battles, with the disinterested Day Care Community Centre staff.

They are going to show the World this talented group & we’re looking forward to seeing them in Cannes.

Timeless Films on Bettina for the Cannes Film Festival 2019

Once again we are welcoming Timeless Films back for their 8th consecutive Cannes Film Festival with us on Bettina, where they will be meeting old friends and clients and also making new ones. whilst they are staying on board and they will be introducing their new products to the Film Market place, during this world famous prestigious event.

We have known them for many years whilst they were using another another Cannes based yacht and when it sold they came to us back in 2012 for their first charter on Bettina and it worked out well over the years and we hope that they have a very successful 2019 Festival.

Timeless Films was launched in September 2009 by industry veteran Ralph Kamp (former CEO of Icon and Odyssey Entertainment). Timeless is an international production and sales company, which has in a few short years built a unique position in the worldwide marketplace as the only independent sales company that focuses on animated and family films.

MIPIM 2018

mipim 2018 on board motor yacht bettinaAfter 15 Years of the MIPIM Festival with DTZ and the 16th under the Cushman & Wakefield Branding Bettina now has a new Charterer.

2018 saw Bettina under the Hill International NV Brand back in the usual MIPIM berth position and welcoming the Company Delegates attending from their offices  Greece, Poland, Romania,Spain and Turkey.

Hill Company Staff and their Guests from many countries enjoyed the daily catering on board and the Cocktail Party was a success with more than 110 people attending through out the evening and more on board later for late night hospitality.

We hope to see them back in 2019

MIPCOM 2017

For MIPCOM 2017 we had Laduma the award winning 360° Virtual Company on board. Travelling from their bases in Liverpool and Salt Lake City they filled our boat with fun and laughter accompanied by a substantial a significant amount of very effective business activity.

Tax Free Festival 2017

TFWA is an association of brands, whose mission is to identify trends and opportunities, build awareness and provide a business platform for the global duty free and travel retail industry to prosper.

This week Motor Yacht Bettina had the pleasure of hosting Landewyck Tobacco SA  during the Cannes Tax Free Festival – TFWA.

Our guests; Heintz van Landewyck is an independent Luxembourg company, that specialise in the production and sale of cigarettes, smoking tobacco and filter tubes. Its registered headquarters are situated in the capital of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

Jerry, Marie & Georges were perfect clients and held several social & business meetings throughout their stay utilising the various spaces on board for breakfast meetings on the aft deck and evening cocktail receptions on the top deck.
